Real life has brought Kitty and I a real treat: Originally, I was picked up by a local publisher (FacePalm Comic) to illustrslate their new title, “Mortal”. It was going to seriously going to slow us down on T2M, but I figured I could keep churning out pages. Well, then things got even sweeter. One of FPC’s existing titles (Entity) had been left dormant for almost a year while the creator was off pursuing other creative challenges. The editor-in-chief was exceptionally eager to get it moving again because of the success issue 1 had, and Kitty was asked to write it, and I’ve been asked to illustrate it, so the dynamic duo is back again! And this time, we’ll be in print and widely available around south Florida, and a decent bit of the rest of the nation as well. We’ll be the creative force behind Entity starting at issue #2 (due out January 25th, 2012), and there’s a possibility that we might get to redo issue #1 as well, but we’ll see about that again. I’ll add more here and on the Siamese Dreams blog as well as I learn more.

BUT… what’s that mean for T2M? Well, it’s not dead and gone, that’s for sure. Recently, Kitty and I had been revisiting the story and feeling that we were generally unhappy with it. My art has improved, and her writing has gotten even better over the few years we’ve been doing this. The story has also changed to be an ongoing story as opposed to a 7-issue arc, and we’ve finally defined what kind of story it is, and our earlier pages don’t reflect that at all. That being said, Kitty is in the process of re-writing the story from the ground up. She is going to wrap the primary arc before we go back to posting again so that we can know for sure that the story we’re posting is the one we want to write. SO, Ten2Midnight is down for now, on hiatus until we can get it polished and ready for you guys again. In the mean time, you should be able to follow us on an every other month basis in Entity.

Let your local shops know about us, if you can. We’ll post the purchasing information so they know where they can pick up issues to stock their shelves with.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand another. Soooo… it’s less than a month between now. That’s improvement lol. thanks for sticking true, guys! Next page up soon! I’m almost done with my class. Once that’s finished, I’ll be able to get back on schedule.

FINALLY. Next page! This is going to continue to be sporadic until I get done with my MCITP certification classes. Work from 7am till 5pm, then class from 6 to 10pm… yeah… not a lot of time for arty arty. Also of note: If you click the first page link up above you’ll see a nice shiny new cover for Issue 1. I’ll be trying to knock those out in my spare time, since hitting real sequential art stuff is a bit more time consuming. ANYWAY… Enjoy the page

So a little bit more delay, but it’s hear at last! AND, I’m already hard at work on the next page Kitty is currently squeeing over having a new page up, and frankly so am I. I had fun with this page. It’s good to get back into the groove. She and I have both been under stupid amounts of stress lately, but some of it is finally starting to break, and that’s good for your comic viewing pleasure
